PsyAsia's Psychometric Test Administration Course provides delegates with the ability to understand and competently practice the administration of ability and personality assessments in organizational settings. PsyAsia was the first and is the longest established local provider of this course in Asia and we were also the first to offer Live Online Training in Psychometric Test Administration! Most classes are led by an award-winning Doctor of Organisational Psychology. The course also allows successful delegates to apply to the British Psychological Society for the Level 1 Assistant Test User certificate.

Course Timings
The face-to-face course lasts one day and commences at 9.30am and finishes between 5.00pm and 6.00pm depending on discussion and delegate needs. Please do not schedule anything else during the day. Delegates who are absent for any part of the course will not be able to receive certification. See opposite for next course dates.

The Live Online course runs over a total of 4 hours, based on 3 sessions, each of around 80 minutes duration (although we are always happy to continue to answer questions and/or schedule additional sessions if required by a group of delegates). Sessions start at 5pm Singapore/Hong Kong/Malaysia time which is 10am GMT. Delegates from anywhere in the world are welcome to register provided they can meet the time zone and speak/understand English. Delegates are expected to attend all sessions. However if the delegate is unable to make a session, he/she may view a recorded version at our online learning center. See opposite for next course dates. If there is no Live training scheduled at a time/date convenient to you, please register for our recorded test administration training instead.

Live One to One Psychometric Test Administration Training

We also offer a forum and text chat in our online learning center so that delegates can learn from and share with other delegates before, during and after a course. Note that all face-to-face delegates will be given access to the recorded live sessions.

Course Aims
to provide the underpinning knowledge required to become a competent Psychometric Test Administrator
to develop the practical skills necessary to become a competent Psychometric Test Administrator
Course Objectives
to explain the theory, principles and ethical considerations of psychometric testing
to covey basic psychometric principles such as reliability and validity
to train participants to administer, score and norm ability and aptitude tests
to train participants to administer, score and norm personality tests
Professional Certification

All attendees who remain present for the whole course and administer and score tests to the required standard will receive a certificate from PsyAsia International, signed by our registered psychologists. Optionally, for a small additional fee, delegates may choose to be assessed for the British Psychological Society's Level 1 Assistant Test User certificate, providing them with an internationally recognised certificate following the course. Delegates must still pay the certificate fee directly to the BPS.

Our online trainees may also benefit from both of the certificates noted above by completing the course and the end of course exam (online) and then either opting to be assessed by us in Singapore or Hong Kong, or submitting a video-CD which shows the trainee competently (a) administering a psychometric test (b) scoring 3 psychometric tests. We also need to see formal photo identification (e.g., passport or driver's license etc.).

Course Content
Participants will be shown examples of personality tests, a number of general ability tests and several tests of specific aptitudes. In addition to discussing practical procedures of administration, the course will also cover a number of further issues essential for their competent and proper usage in the company: e.g., theory and principles of testing, elementary test theory and ethical issues. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the logistics of testing within the company.

Delegates on this course usually come from organizations that already have trained test users in-house and wish to delegate the time-consuming task of administration. Alternatively, organizations new to the test arena often send delegates on this course and use PsyAsia to score and interpret the tests, with a view to investing in the more advanced psychometric assessment at work (BPS Level 1 & 2) training courses at a later date.
 
 
Successful delegates will be qualified to administer and score psychometric ability and personality tests, including all tests offered by PsyAsia International. Delegates will still need to complete our Psychometric Assessment at Work Course before they are able to interpret or feedback aptitude and personality test results.

Live Online Training Note:
For delegates registering for our live online training in psychometric test administration, you will need a computer with a good, stable, broadband internet connection in addition to a headset that has a good (preferably noise canceling) microphone. You will be expected to listen to the training and to participate by voice and/or type-chat with other delegates. The first time you log-into the training site your system will automatically download some software. For a good connection this will take less than 3 minutes. For the Live Online Training, we welcome anybody from anywhere in the world provided you speak and understand English to a reasonable level.
